Please note: The Association does not provide hazard insurance for the Townhomes. All homeowners are required to obtain their own individual homeowner’s insurance policies that cover the entire townhome, including the exterior.
Fredericksburg Townhomes is classified as a Planned Unit Development (PUD). As such, the Association’s insurance policy only covers the common grounds and Association-owned property—not the townhomes themselves.
Providing Evidence of Property Insurance is an annual requirement for all homeowners and helps ensure compliance with the HOA’s Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions (Article IX – Insurance, Section 2).
Evidence of insurance must be submitted within 30 days of a request from the Association. This document can be obtained through your personal insurance agent and must show that your policy covers the structure of your townhome, including the exterior.
